Turtle Lake County Park’s recreational facilities include a large playground, playfield with a backstop, a boat launch with parking for more than 20 boat trailers, and a picnic shelter that can be reserved for events. It is also one of a handful of Ramsey County parks that offer unguarded swimming beaches. Additional locations include Lake Gervais in Little Canada and Lake Owasso, also in Shoreview.

The covered shelter has a capacity of 75 and includes a dozen picnic tables, two grills and multiple electrical outlets.
