Located the the East Side of Saint Paul, Prosperity Park and Prosperity Heights Park are two parks separated by Ivy Avenue, but combine to create over 10 acres of recreational and green space for public use. Family-friendly amenities include a playground, several sports fields and courts, a bocce ball court, and natural areas, including a pond. The park has restroom facilities and on-street parking around the neighborhood.

7 Ideas for Family Fun at Prosperity Park

1. Play on the playground. This smaller playground will appeal most to the younger kids.
2. Play a game of kickball on the baseball field with your playground ball.
3. Bring your Bocce set for a game on the park’s court.
4. Pack a picnic.
5. Explore the 10 acres of natural land on the Prosperity Heights portion of the park.

7. Go sledding in the winter.

Sledding

In the winter, families can enjoy a gentle slope sledding hill located on the Prosperity Park side of Ivy Avenue. All park sledding hills in Saint Paul are free and open to the public but also at your own risk. St. Paul encourages you to read their safety tips before sledding.
