Prairie Park is Otsego’s community gathering space. Family friendly amenities include a splash pad and archery course, an RC Track, space to picnic and sports courts and fields. The park hosts a variety of community events each summer.
Ideas for family fun at Prairie Park
- Attend a summer entertainment event on a Tuesday morning.
- Play on the playground.
- Splash in the splash pad. It is open Memorial Day through early September from sunrise to sunset.
- Pack a picnic or bring food to grill
- Play dodgeball on the soccer field. Bring your own playground ball.
- Get a game of kickball going on the baseball diamond.
- Bring your bow to practice archery.
- Ride the ramps and rails at Otsego Skate Park.
- Bring that remote control car you got for Christmas and race it on the RC track!
- Bring the family dog for some off-leash fun.
- Sled or ice skate in the winter.
Remote Control Race Track at Prairie Park
While the park is stocked full of family fun opportunities, the most unique feature is a RC Racetrack located north of the archery range. Electric motor RC cars are welcome on this dirt track to race and play.
