Parade Ice Garden is an indoor rink located in Parade Park in Minneapolis. It was built in the 1970s as hockey in the metro area transitioned from being played primarily outdoors. It offers year-round indoor ice skating and often special open skate hours during school release days, such as MEA, winter break and spring break.
Open skating at Parade Ice Garden
Find monthly schedules for open skate and on the MPRB website for the most up-to-date information. Admission is $5 for ages 5+ and $3 for seniors (4 and under FREE). Skate rental is an additional $3. Beginners can also rent skating aids for $3. The rink also offers open hockey and stick and puck times.
FREE OUTDOOR ICE SKATING In winter months Minneapolis parks offer free outdoor skating at these parks.
Birthday parties at Parade Ice Garden
