The Mississippi National River & Recreation Area Visitor Center is a small gallery, that introduces visitors to the opportunities and beauty of the Mississippi National River & Recreation Area. Families can watch videos, read books and enjoy the interactive exhibits about the Mississippi River. Kids can also join the Junior Ranger program or turn in booklets here.
The visitor center is located just inside the lobby of Science Museum of Minnesota and is FREE to visit separately from the sceince museum.
