The Minnesota Air National Guard Museum was created to share historically significant aircraft and ancillary artifacts, historical documents, photographs, manuscripts and books related to aircraft. While it makes a great visit for kids who love airplanes, it is not a spontaneous, drop-in kind of outing. You’ll need to plan ahead for your visit, have proper ID ready and work around security and health laws.
Visiting the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum
Because the museum is located on an active military base, patrons need security clearance to visit the museum. Advance registration and a Real ID are required for anyone visiting the museum.
Aircraft on Display
The museum has over twenty military aircraft on display as well as over 6,000 artifacts and several restoration projects.
Guided Tours of the Minnesota Air National Guard Museum
Guided tours can be scheduled with at least one week’s advanced booking. Security background checks will be performed. Tours cost $5/pp and last approximately an hour and a half.
Birthday Parties
