Website Liberty Park
Liberty Park in Woodbury was known as Stonemill Farms North Park until 2016. Some things still have it listed that way. If you use a Google map to find the park using the name “Liberty Park”, it is going to take you to Liberty Ridge Elementary School, which is close enough – just drive a little further south on Eagle View Boulevard. Or use “Stonemill Farms North Park” for finding directions.
This 100 acre neighborhood park has an accessible play structure, space to picnic and sports fields. It participates in the Woodbury Puppet Wagon program. There are seasonal restrooms available and a parking lot that holds approximately 50 vehicles.
7 Ideas for family fun at Liberty Park
- Play together on the playground. There is a playground at the park as well as another at the school next door.
- Bring your baseball gear to get in some practice together.
- Play yard games – There is a huge multi-sport field in this park, where, if not in use for a game, could be a great place to play kickball or dodge ball or any outdoor game that takes a bit of space.
- Practice tennis together,
- Challenge your kid to a game of one-on-one on the basketball court,
- Take a long walk together. You can easily walk a mile or more just using the paved trails that meander around the park and school,
- Pack a picnic. Besides the shelter, there is plenty of room to spread a blanket for a picnic.
