Located next to Lebanon Hills Regional Park, George Ohmann park in Eagan is currently used mainly as a sports field park. However, it does offer families a playground and a sun shelter with restrooms and a few other family-friendly amenities. This park offers a good-sized parking lot for off-street parking.
Playing with drones at George Ohmann Park
This park is one of two in Eagan where visitors can fly their drones with a permit (about $20). Unlike most of Eagan, the park lies outside of restricted fly zones. Eagan has designated the large, green areas as the best places to fly without impacting other park activities. Because of Eagan’s close proximity to the airport, there are quite a few restrictions and safety guidelines.
