- Garden. Apply for a plot for your household and tend vegetables and/or flowers together.
Dickman Park Wading Pool
Dickman Park’s wading pool is traditionally open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day each summer. MPRB wading pools are unguarded and parental supervision is highly recommended. For the most up-to-date information on wading pools, Minneapolis Parks online keeps a list of open/closed pools here. We recommend checking before heading out to splash around.
Originally installed in 1957, this is one of the older wading pools in Minneapolis. However, it is not part of the coming updates. While MPRB had considered installing a splash pad, the plan did not receive much community support, so MPRB is putting its efforts the agricultural zone requested by community members.
