Golden Valley’s Brookview Park offers amenities including playground equipment, hopscotch squares, walking paths, picnic shelters, game courts and a horseshoe pit. This park hosts the annual Penny Carnival. It is also the home of Brookview Community Center & Brookview Backyard Indoor Playground
Brookview Park Playground – Outdoor
Besides the popular indoor playground, the park has an newly-renovated outdoor playground. The playground has both standard playground and strategically placed boulders attached to climbing equipment.
The walking paths and trails can be beautiful in the summer with wild flowers growing along the lake. This may offer a more mellow and less busy opportunity for family fitness than Golden Valley’s popular Schaper Park Challenge Course.
Birthday parties at Brookview Park pavilion shelters
Brookview has two picnic shelters available for private use. Shelter are available to rent from mid-April through the first week of October, making it an affordable option for summer birthday parties. The indoor playground and community center have year-round birthday party opportunities.
