Anne, Joy, and I support all types of families in the Twin Cities. We want to help empower our fellow residents of the Twin Cities. So in an effort to be an ally to people of color, Family Fun Twin Cities is dedicated to highlighting a BIPOC Business of the Month in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
January’S BIPOC BUSINESS OF THE MONTH: Family Finds MN
If you would like to nominate a BIPOC business, click on the button below.
Family Finds MN is comprised of a family of three, and they provide resources on where to shop, travel and eat. They started the blog because they would get several requests from friends and family to help plan events or to give suggestions on where they should go and what food they should eat.
“We figured if they trusted our opinions others might as well.”
Shopping local and exploring as a family is something they love so it was an easy process.
FFTC asked: What is your favorite thing about your business?
Our favorite thing is knowing that we are helping our followers find out about businesses they may not have known about before.
FFTC Asked: What has been your biggest hurdle?
The Covid pandemic. We spent tons of time out as a family traveling and exploring. We had to find new ways to have fun as a family while supporting local businesses.
FFTC Asked for a funny story about Family Finds MN
When you get to know us, you will realize my husband and daughter are the jokesters of the family. They are always making me laugh.
I typically write the reviews. Any time I can get my husband or daughter to do one, people love it because they are authentic and always have a joke to throw in even when they do not mean to.
FFTC Asked: What Legacy do you want Family Finds MN to leave?
Support what and who is important to you.
Always Stand for what you believe in.
