Description

Visit the Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota with kids of any age for a fun and educational experience. Tours are low-cost, run most days of the week, and can often be tailored a little to fit your party. You’ll get the chance to tour the raptor enclosures, ask any questions you like and get close to the beautiful birds that are cared for (and often released back into the wild) by the U. READ MORE: 5 reasons we love the Raptor Center. Tours offered Tues-Fri, 10am–4pm & weekends 10:15-4pm. Cost is $5-$8 per person.

2026 Raptor Center public shows & admission

• Shows run Tuesday-Sunday starting around 10am
• Regular tour tickets are $8/adults, kids ages 3-17/$5
• Special Saturday only Raptor Encounters tour at 1pm, $8-$10/pp

Raptor Center tour tips

Tours are approximately 30 minutes long. As space is limited to a max of 15, pre-registration is encouraged. Walk-ins are welcome when space permits.

Free parking is scarce around the University of Minnesota’s St. Paul campus. If you’ve got some extra time (and a stroller), consider parking on a residential street in the St. Anthony Park neighborhood and walking a few blocks. There is also a parking garage about a half block from the visitor center.
