Description
Pleasant Valley Orchard rests just outside the lovely St Croix river town of Taylors Falls, Minnesota. There’s a gentle buzz at the orchard starting with strawberry picking in June, lively apple-and-pumpkin harvesting in the autumn, a Twelve Day of Halloween series towards the end of October and Christmas gift shopping through early December. We’ve enjoyed this orchard so much we include it on our list of the Top 10 Things for Families in Taylors Falls.
Fall weekend activities at Pleasant Valley Orchard
Pick your own apples are available on weekends only; hayrides to the pumpkin patch start in early October. Tickets for rides through the orchard and around the pumpkins are $6 per person. There are typically food vendors present, and often live music. See our full schedule of events.
2025 Pleasant Valley Orchard event schedule
- September 13-14: Anniversary Weekend Fair – Live music (Sat 11am-5pm, Sun 1-4), sausage-on-a-stick vendor, hayrides start (Sept 14).
- September 20-21: Live music (1-4pm), wood-fired pizza (Sat), Paint-and-Sip activity (Sun only).
- September 27-28: Live music (1-4pm), food trucks.
- October 4-5: Live music (1-4), food trucks, hayrides to the pumpkin patch begin.
- October 11-12: Live music (1-4pm), food trucks.
- October 17-19: MEA weekend! Friday Spooky Storytime with a local author (Oct 17), Harvest Sip & Shop pop-up market (Oct 18, 1-5pm), live music and food trucks.
- October 19-30: Twelve Days of Halloween event with daily sales and special activities such as spooky storytime, a scavenger hunt and pumpkin baking contest.
- November: Orchard market open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays with apple products, discounts and Christmas decor (10am-5pm).
- December 4-6: December sale (10am-4pm).
