Description
Celebrate all things llama (and alpaca) with the Textile Center during its 2nd Annual Llama Fest. Meet these South American wooly Camelids, pet them, take selfies. Then head into the auditorium to try needle-felting your own llama to take home.
Family Fun includes
- Live Llamas and an Alpaca. Give a llama a hug.
- Photo Ops. Get a photo of your llama hug.
- Needle-felting. Make your own llama, complete with clothes to take home.
- Coloring pages for the youngest kids: Not just any coloring pages, artist-designed coloring pages!
Textile Center for Fiber Art: Experience a day of creativity and fun for the whole family at the Textile Center in Minneapolis. While much of this national center for fiber art is geared toward adult makers, they do offer classes for kids and families, birthday parties, and summer camps.
