I am about to move to Excelsior and I would like to enjoy concerts on the Commons. But NOT with the appalling amount of goose poop all over the ground which the city appear to do nothing about ( being more interested installing overpriced parking meters to extract cash from visitors. ) I would certainly not sit on the grass to be coated with goose slime and who knows what parasites or infections. A wonderful community resource ruined.
Thanks for this information, Lawrence. I will definitely toss blankets for sitting into the car when we go to Excelsior for events.
You may want to share this information with the City. When I mentioned a similar problem to Columbia Heights about Silver Beach, they did something to move the geese along.
