Arguably, the Sunken Garden is the most classic of the balmy and bright rooms of the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in Como Park. Certainly the most colorful, the garden swaps its blooms out multiple times per year, a seasonal delight for any age, particularly in the drudges of a Minnesota winter.

2026 Como Conservatory Winter Flower Show

From Como’s Sunken Garden website: The Winter Flower Show features a stunning display of flowering trees, shrubs, bulbs, and blooms. This year’s show will be shades of orchid purple, pink, and blue with lime green accents. South African veltheimia bulbs, lavender azaleas, pink and white camellias, tropical hibiscus, delicate blue cyclamen, fragrant jasmine, and violas are featured in this winter display.

Note that the Sunken Garden closes briefly between shows.
