Description
Arguably, the Sunken Garden is the most classic of the balmy and bright rooms of the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in Como Park. Certainly the most colorful, the garden swaps its blooms out multiple times per year, a seasonal delight for any age, particularly in the drudges of a Minnesota winter.

2026 Como Conservatory Summer Flower Show
From Como’s Sunken Garden website: Fall down a rabbit hole of dark colored flowers and foliage, pastel roses, and red flowers in a summer display inspired by the story, Alice in Wonderland. Tall cypress open into a garden tea party of cup shaped leaves, saucers of succulents, and soft pastels. Crimson flowers represent the red queen and take center stage as you progress along the garden path through this whimsical summer display.
Note that the Sunken Garden closes for maintenance June 21 – July 2.
