Rince na Chroi is pronounced Rink-a na Cree and is Gaelic for “dance of the heart”. This school is performance-based and offers Irish dance instruction for ages 3 and up at Concordia University. Instructors teach traditional Irish dance steps with a concentration on technique, form, training and conditioning. Classes start each fall in late September and run through mid-August. Students will have opportunities to showcase their dance skills at various community events throughout the year. This Dance Studio is featured in FFTC’s Guide to Dance Studios in the Twin Cities. Summer camps are offered at Concordia University Campus for beginner through advanced students. The cost of the camp includes snacks and crafts for the dancers along with a Rince na Chroi dance camp t-shirt. There are half day and full day options.
