2020 Updates

Three Rivers Park System has chosen to keep nature centers closed to the public during the summer of 2020, so they would be available for summer camps and programming.  For a complete list of what is open and closed in 2020, check Three Rivers' Covid-19 page.

Public Art on Display at Richardson Nature Center

This is one of the Twin Cities sites where visitors can view colorful clay mosaics and sculptures by local artist Chris Tully. (See more Chris Tully Sculptures at Brookdale Library).

Birthday Parties at Richardson Nature Center

Richardson hosts Wild Birthday Parties that include an hour of outdoor activity with a party leader, followed by an open hour for games, gift opening and refreshments. Parties can be booked all year and are best for kids 4 and up. Parties are based on nature-themed topics and cost $100 for up to 15 children and six adults. Call the nature center (763.694.7676) a minimum of six weeks in advance to book a party.
