The Italian Cultural Center is located in the Hennepin Center for the Arts Building (a/k/a Cowles Center) in downtown Minneapolis. It offers language classes and Italian cultural events. The center sometimes offer events and classes geared toward children, such as cooking classes, movies, a bi-annual story hour, Italian celebrations and artist collaborations. The Italian Cultural Center offers both beginner and intermediate Italian classes for children ages 3 – 17. The center limits its class sizes to create a more ideal learning environment. The movie club, Cinemino, offers Italian language movies for children ages three and older. Screenings are usually held on Sunday afternoons twice a year. The program is free and families are invited to meet at the Northeast Punch Pizza for dinner after the screening.Related Articles:
