Braemar Arena in Edina has year-round indoor rinks which are available for open skating, rentals, sports and birthday parties. Skating lessons and classes are also offered year round. The arena is located in Braemar Park. The arena accommodates figure skating, Edina Hornets hockey and Da Beauty League. The Backyard Rink offers outdoor skating under a roof and complete with a fireplace. Note that there are three facilities at Braemar Park during the winter months. This entry only covers the year-round Arena. There is also a seasonal Braemar Field Sports Dome plus a golf dome. Information for the winter dome is in the park’s directory post. The Arena sometimes offers Family Open Skating nights on the outdoor Backyard Rink during ice season. Admission and times can be found on Edina’s Open Skating page.
