Schubert Club Music Museum

FamilyJam is a new free program for kids and families at the Schubert Club Music Museum in St. Paul's Landmark Center which comprises short 25-30 minute concerts followed by Music Museum activities, including hands-on instrument playing, instrument demonstrations and musician meet and greets. All FamilyJam concerts and Music Museum admission are free. Registration is required.

Happy Bird Day: A Party for Birds & Bugs

Free Family Fun Day at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park

Join naturalists for free, drop-in and kid-friendly programming at
 MISSISSIPPI GATEWAY REGIONAL PARK. This weekend, learn all about spring birds, their hidden nests and eggs. Then try creating your own bird’s nest and eggs. Drop in, no registration required. May 12, 2024, 1-3pm. FREE.

Mother’s Day Walk at Eastman Nature Center

Of course, you could probably choose just about anywhere and have a lovely Mother’s Day walk with Mom — but if you pick ELM CREEK PARK RESERVE today you’ll get to take a guided stroll in search of birds, wildflowers and other signs of spring. Note, this is described as best for older kids, but there’s plenty to enjoy for all ages at the park. May 12, 2024, 1:30-3pm. FREE.
