Park Hours: Golden Valley Parks are open sunrise to 10 pm.
Gearty Park in Golden Valley has family friendly amenities that include a small playground, lighted game squares, walking trails and sports courts and fields. In the winter it is one of the Golden Valley parks with a lighted skating rink and warming house.
Gearty Park Playground
The playground was updated in 2014 with design preferences chosen by neighborhood families. The equipment features natural colors and a wood chip floor. The play structure has a gatorwalk, wobble sphere, track ride, hypersonic slide, and a roundabout challenge ladder.
Puppet Wagon at Gearty Park
Gearty traditionally hosts the Golden Valley Puppet Wagon weekly during the summer months. Each week experience fun stories and adventures with the puppets.

Ice Skating at Gearty Park Rink
This park has a general skating rink with a warming house. Crews try to get ice conditions ready for skating by mid-December and keep them open until mid-February. However, weather dictates outdoor rink availability.

Gearty Off-Leash Dog Area
