The sprinklers are still on at most Twin Cities-area splash pads through Labor Day – soak up the opportunity to cool off for free before it’s back to school! Here’s a fanciful option in the Northwest Metro:

The Maple Grove splash pad has become one of the favorites among Twin Cities parents. A fantastic playground is also onsite with challenges for a wide variety of ages and abilities. Interactive fountain open daily 10am – 8:30pm, 8:45pm – 10pm – show mode with lights.

Minnesota State Fair starts today!

It’s Day One of the Great Minnesota Get-Together and we are super excited to present our polished-up 2026 GUIDE TO THE MINNESOTA STATE FAIR. It’s a special collection of tips and ideas garnered from years of towing our young families along to the Fair. Can an amazing time be had by all in the face of crowds, cows and corn dogs? Absolutely!
