Rec On The Go van brings recreation activities and equipment to local parks for kids and teens to play games and sports and create arts and crafts! Plus free meals are served for kids 18 and under. Monday’s schedule:

COON RAPIDS Bunker Beach Tot Time

MAPLE GROVE Sounds of Summer Kids Concerts

STARTS TODAY! The summer music series includes free family concerts on Thursday mornings. Kevin Hall, magician, performs today. There is seating on the tiered terrace walls and room for blankets in the grassy spaces. Don’t expect playground equipment here, but there is a small “music plaza” to make your own tunes and a pond to watch fish and ducks. June 25, 2026, 10:30am. FREE.

BROOKLYN PARK Family Fun on the Farm Concert Series

Historic Eidem Farm hosts a free family concert series this summer along with the unique chance to explore a historic farmstead complete with farm animals. The gates are open today from 10am-7pm so the public can meet the farm animals, explore gardens and trails and possibly even help with chores. June 25, 2026, concert to play from 6-7pm, FREE.

The Maple Grove splash pad has become one of the favorites among Twin Cities parents. A fairly new (and pretty sweet) playground is also onsite with challenges for a wide variety of ages and abilities. Interactive fountain open daily 10am – 8:30pm, 8:45pm – 10pm – show mode with lights.
