Playworks is a day care in Prior Lake owned and operated by the Shakopee Mdewanton Sioux Community with childcare offerings and summer camps for qualifying community members. They formerly offered family programming like open play times and birthday parties, but are no longer open to the public

Family Play – No Longer Offered

Family Play was an open gym option but has not been offered since 2019.

Birthday Parties Currently on Hold

Birthday parties are currently on hold. However, the Link Event Center offers affordable event space rentals and onsite catering.

Playworks Summer Camps

The daycare tells us that their “Summer Camp is a spectacular day camp filled with fun and learning”.  However, they are only open to children of Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Members, Gaming Enterprise team members, and Tribal Operations employees 6 – 12 Years of Age.
