Nebraska Park is one of the City of Maplewood’s Mini Parks. It covers 2 acres and has family friendly amenities that include a new playground, a half-basketball court and an internal loop trail. This Mini Park has a cool new feature. When the city finished installing it’s new playground in November of 2017, it was the first Maplewood park to incorporate a Biba Smart Playground where visitors can download an app for interactive fun. The app, which has games for kids and play date reminders for parents, also interacts with participating parks to encourage play for a digital generation. Not an app family? Then ignore it and play on the playground equipment the old-fashioned way.
