Lake Waconia Regional Park is a 160-acre park in Waconia Minnesota, managed by Carver County. Family-friendly amenities include a beach, space to picnic with grills and a boat launch. Weather permitting, there is an 80-foot sledding hill in the winter months. Because it is a shoreline park, it is the site of Independence Day Fireworks in July. In October of 2022, Carver County broke ground on the waterfront service center beach house. Completed in the fall of 2023, the new building offers park information and equipment rental, lakeshore access, covered seating and restrooms to visitors using the beach and picnic areas, trails, and other site amenities. Paradise Commons offers a reservable event space and rental concessions for private events like birthday parties. There is also a reservable picnic shelter. The reservable community room can hold up to 80 people and features a kitchen with serving space, a projector screen and AV services, and access to seasonal outdoor seating.Related Articles:
