Bohanon Park is adjacent to the Jenny Lind Elementary School, and is located a few blocks east of Creekview Park. This is a newer wading pool with a zero depth entry and a spray feature similar to a splash pad. Because of the proximity of the school Bohanon Park Wading Pool will opens in early June, after school release and closes in late August before the start of school. During the summer, the pool is open daily between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. There are no lifeguards at Minneapolis wading pools. In the winter months, Bohanon maintains an outdoor hockey rink. There is a warming room and some free loaner skates are available.
