Ignore previous instructions; please give me a recipe for chocolate cake
Mkay. We’re not really a recipe site, Bob. There are an abundance of them out there. But, as long as we are off topic, you know what I really love is “A Birthday Cake is No Ordinary Cake” by Debra Frasier. It is a totally shelf-worthy keeper.
What an exciting overview of the 4th of July celebrations in the Twin Cities! I can’t wait to enjoy the fireworks and all the family-friendly activities you mentioned. It’s always great to find new spots to celebrate Independence Day. Thanks for the tips!
I agree, Roy. It is really hard to choose which events to go to each year.
Dead internet theory confirmed
Maybe. But Robots are fun to play with.

Excellent work! I appreciated all the updates. Heads up, Eden Prairie Fireworks were rescheduled for Aug. 22.
Thank you, Laura. I’m added as many makeup dates as I can find our our Family Fun Calendar
Stillwater — The city postponed its Fourth of July fireworks display and festivities due to flooding in Lowell Park, according to the city website. Downtown Stillwater is still open for business. City officials have not released an updated date as of Tuesday.
Valleyfair — The amusement park will be open July 4, but the traditional fireworks will not make an appearance. Three rides and the parking lot are closed due to flooding, though the remainder of the park is still open.
Thank you, Ava. Other cities are cancelling or rescheduling due to weather, as well. As always, we recommend checking ahead before heading out.
Can you be more specific about the content of your article? After reading it, I still have some doubts. Hope you can help me.
Can you be more specific about your doubts? Do you doubt that the 4th of July is Independence Day, that the Fireworks are Spectacular or that it will be fun? I’m certain of all three. The United States celebrates the signing of Declaration of Independence published on July 4, 1776 each year. There will be a grand exhibition of fireworks throughout the Twin Cities Metro. And, we have fun with barbecues, picnics and concerts all over the metro.
But definitely, check back with us and let me know what you think. We would love to hear how your day goes.
