We still have lots of summer to go and while the beginning of the summer was blasted hot, Iwe are experienceing the dog days of continuing  into August.  What a perfect time to grab your floaties and get to some water!

For the Summer to Remember Adventure No. 8, the prompt is

“Float”

You can use this adventure prompt around town, through creative play, or in a book.  This is our last week of Adventures.  We would love to see your adventures this week.  Don’t forget to submit your adventure.

Adventures Around Town

Here are some places you can enjoy floating around town.

Splash Pads and Wading Pools

Indoor Waterparks and Pools

Local Beaches

Don’t forget you can float in a boat or on a paddleboard or in a kayak or in a canoe.

Or go to a parade and watch all their floats!

Read the book Storm Codes written by local author Tracy Nelson Maurer about a ship on Lake Superior caught in a storm.  Did it float or did it sink?
