FFTC’s Guide to Mini Golf Courses in the Twin Cities

Mini golf on your summer bucket list? Whether you are looking to play a game of putt-putt outside in the beautiful summer weather or inside to escape the heat and humidity, we’ve rounded up all the mini golf courses in and around the Twin Cities. Choose between classic courses and inventive courses, beautifully artistic courses and techno courses, challenging putting courses for dad and pirate’s lair for son. We also have listed deals and coupons where we can.

Get out with the whole family this summer (or winter) and chase some waterfalls and windmills (and the golf balls you hit too far).

Birthday Celebration Idea: Some of these courses offer packages for kids’ birthdays or could just be a fun celebration with a few best friends.

A black-light illuminated mini golf course in Blaine was a hit for all the kids. Simple holes that were also challenging for the more experienced mini-golfer in the family. Unfortunately, Glow in One closed in 2020.

The Science Museum of Minnesota’s Big Back Yard, which was a popular mini golf location, closed several years ago. However, while it does offer yard games, mini golf is not currently among the selections. The new backyard is included with Science Museum admission.
