Woodhaven Park is a small Eagan park with a large, all-inclusive destination playground that is the focus of this park. Off-street parking is available.
6 Ideas for family fun at Woodhaven Park
- Run around on the inclusive playground. It is so spacious and offers so many play options, you should leave with tired kids and maybe even get a workout yourself.
- Play a game of Around The World on the Bankshot basketball court. There are a dozen colorful hoops at various levels in the center of this court. Move around the court trying to make baskets in each hoop.
- Pack a picnic to eat in the shelter next the playground. It offers a clear view of the playground, so kids can play while parents enjoy the shade.
- Explore the “forest”. The walking trails wind through trees on the southeast side of the park.
- Play kickball on one of the baseball diamonds.
- Try tennis. Bring your tennis gear and play a game together on the park’s courts.
In 2020, the city installed the new Destination All-Play Playground and it officially opened in June of 2021. Amenities include:
- Rubber trails
- Bankshot basketball
- Swings
- Slides of all sizes
- A musical feature
Public art at Woodhaven Park
This park was among Eagan’s 2021 park selections to receive new public art. The community-involved mural was designed to celebrate kids with large shapes and soft colors with natural elements like flowers and butterflies worked into the design. Learn more at Eagan’s Public Art webpage.
