Sochacki Park is a relatively rustic park with picnic areas and walking trails. It is nearly 40 acres and mainly used for its trails. Currently a part of the Robbinsdale Park System, the city has partnered with Three Rivers Park District to explore options for improvements. Three Rivers sometimes offers outreach program, such as birding, at this park.
5 Family fun ideas at Sochacki Park
- Take a hike together.
- Go birding. Consider bringing a supplies to do some bird-watching together.
- Bring the family dog and let him run at the dog park. This dog park is relatively new and I have not been able to find Robbinsdale ordinances concerning dog parks, however, this article from the Sun Post says this is a Three Rivers Project, so a $6/daily use fee or annual pass may apply.
- Pack a picnic for an outdoor meal – either in the pavilion or on a blanket in a green space.
- Enjoy community entertainment.
