Incorporated in 1996, Merrill Arts Center in Woodbury is an all-volunteer theater that offers family-friendly shows and acting, piano, voice, and dance classes as well as camps for kids.
Family-friendly theater at Merrill Arts Center
Merrill produces several family-friendly shows a year, which we list on our performing arts calendar. Among the family-friendly offerings, there is usually a Christmas show each year.
Acting classes and camps at Merrill Arts Center
Parents can sign up their kids for art and acting classes at Merrill throughout the year. In the summer, it offers theater camps for kids ages 6-18. We feature Merrill in our Twin Cities Summer Camps Guide, where we update prices and dates annually. They also offer MEA Break Session.
