Named for its high elevation and skyline view of Minneapolis, Hi-View Park has family-friendly amenities that include a playground and tot lot, a wading pool, a picnic area with a grill, restrooms and a drinking fountain, and sports fields and courts.
In June 2016, Minneapolis Parks completed renovations of Hi-View Park’s playground and wading pool. The equipment mimics natural play spaces and provides an opportunity for interaction between age groups.

The park’s wading pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. It is a newer pool with zero-depth entry, a fun turtle-shaped mini slide and splash-pad spray features. Summer pool hours are 10am-9pm. Lifeguards are not on duty at Minneapolis wading pools.
