The Excelsior Line of the Minnesota Streetcar Museum boards on Water Street between 3rd and George Street or at Old Excelsior Blvd. near Minnetonka Blvd. Excelsior is one of the beautiful Twin Cities day-trip locations that can keep a family happily active for a full day and still be close enough to home to quit when the day gets too long — perfect for families with small children. No visit to Excelsior would be complete without a ride on the Excelsior Line of the Minnesota Streetcar Museum.
- This is not a physical museum. The Streetcars themselves make up the museum.
- Streetcars do not run in the rain.
- The Como-Harriet Lines are part of this museum, but we list them separately in our directory.
