Edgerton Park in Maplewood is a 14 acre park adjacent to Edgerton Elementary School and Heritage Center Park. Family-friendly amenities include a playground and sports fields and courts.
This park hosts community events including the annual spring egg hunt and the End of Summer Celebration.
4 Fun Things for Families at Edgerton Park
- Play Kickball. Bring a ball and play a game of kickball on the baseball fields or bring your bat and baseball and practice batting, pitching and catching.
- Race around the Playground. This playground has a large open playground with plenty of room to run between climbing, swinging and sliding. Maplewood uses wood chips on their playground floors.
- Play Four Square. This playground has two four-square courts. Bring your own ball to take your family on and see who wins.
- Grab a rock and play hopscotch. There are two hopscotch courses at this park, too.
