Past Wood Lake programs
November 9: Family Wilderness Skills
During this family-friendly program, participants learn the basics of shelter-building and fire-starting. Enjoy the seasonal changes while practicing outdoor skills. Meet at the Emily Day Shelter. Best for ages grade school and up. Registration required. Admission: $5/pp (50% off for members).
- Choose between two sessions: 12:30-2pm or 3-4:30pm.
November 23: Geocaching Basics
Learn the basics of geocaching with a provided GPS unit, designed as a family program, then embark on a course for beginners. Registration required. $5 per person.
