Description
Union Depot hosts Games Galore every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests of all ages are invited to drop in and play giant-size versions of many of your favorite games including chess, checkers, Connect Four, Dominoes, Jenga, tic-tac-toe and others. The games are free and open to the public and you’re also invited to bring your own indoor games to play!
While you are at the station, take a little time to train watch!
Note: On second and fourth Wednesdays during the summer, the Union Depot waiting room transforms into a ballroom at 5:30pm for Depot Dance Night. Games may get put away early to accommodate dancing.

Union depot no longer holds this event and have even possibly stopped a couple of years ago. I’ve reached out to them directly for confirmation and never heard back although they read my message.
Hi, Pat. While Union Depot discontinued Games Galore for a time in 2020, it did come back and is listed in their current visitors guide — found under the “Visit” tab on their website. You are correct that Union Depot no longer lists Games Galore on their event calendar, this is likely because it is not really an event. They just bring out some games in their lobby on Wednesdays and invite people to bring their own games as well. Union Depot Visitors Guide.
