Description
Baker Park Reserve is located northwest of the Minneapolis-St Paul metro area in Maple Plain. The park is home to the rustic Baker Outdoor Learning Center where families and groups can find most of the outdoor nature education programs along with cabins for overnight stays, a lodge, a rock climbing wall and hiking trails.

- September 21 Free Family Fun Day: Wilderness Skills – Photo-orienteering, knot-tying and a campfire with marshmallow roasting. Baker Outdoor Learning Center, 2:30-4pm.

- September 2025 Timeline Turmoil: A Family-Friendly Escape Room – Yes, an escape room within a park! At Baker Park Reserve, the “Chrono-Criminal” is bent on erasing memories and knowledge of Baker Park history. Families are recruited to embark on this escape-room style challenge to solve puzzles and save the records of the past. It’s a beginner-level activity so all ages in the family can participate together. Reservations required by two days prior. Cost is $8 per person.
