Tom Pederson, The Creature Teacher, is a retired teacher from Lake City, Minnesota, who offers one hour presentations with live reptiles and amphibians. Popular with schools, libraries and childcare centers, these programs are fun, interesting, and educational. Each one-hour presentation is customized to be age-appropriate to the audience and will include several types of frogs, lizards, turtles, and snakes from around the world. Those attending will be given the opportunity to touch a snake and a tortoise at the end of the presentation. People that have seen this program have come away with an appreciation for these interesting animals. A one hour program is $225 for a group up to 60. A second program done shortly after the first is $175. There is an additional mileage fee of .50 per mile from Lake City, Minnesota. Note: Pricing is subject to change.
