WHAT
Minneapolis area residents and visitors can now visit Sandbox VR’s second location. The Eden Prairie location is complete with virtual reality rooms, known as Holodecks, where visitors can choose from six experiences, including its latest Deadwood Valley that Sandbox VR touts as its most immersive and visually stunning experience to date.
Sandbox VR offers a socially immersive gaming experience that provides players a unique combination of full body motion capture and VR technologies that enable them to become anyone and go anywhere. Together with friends, family, or co-workers, players are equipped with a VR headset, a haptic vest, a backpack, and motion sensors on their wrists and ankles. Participants can see and interact with their team through VR goggles while they free-roam together to complete the experience, which includes experiences such as defeating zombies in a haunted mansion or participating in a family-friendly Star Trek space mission.
Each experience is designed to make participants feel like they are in the middle of a favorite action-movie, with the heightened emotions that come from not just watching a film, but from actually becoming the stars of the action.

Following each experience, all guests receive dynamically-created highlight videos that are similar to movie trailers and which capture all the laughter, screams, intensity and excitement of their experience.
