Pangea World Theater in South Minneapolis works through theater and theater education “to build a just world by creating multi-disciplinary theater that embodies decolonizing practices of solidarity, sustainability and equity”. The theater offers community events, a variety of programming, educational matinees, as well as workshops and camps for all ages.

Summer Camp at Pangea World Theater

Kids can join Pangea in August for week-long full day camps that explore the art of theater through folktales, production, and playwriting. Rooted in the company’s practice of radical welcome, Pangea invites students of all experience levels to join their circle as they play, learn, and create together.

In addition to theater skills, campers will learn the following:

  • Confidence and interpersonal communication
  • Team and ensemble building
  • Creative collaboration with a diverse groups of peers
  • Refining personal artistry

For students entering grades 4-6 the following school year. All camps take place at Pangea World Theater’s studio.
