The Burnsville Ice Center is an indoor skating facility offering year-round ice rinks. Besides lessons and sporting events, the center also hosts an Annual Ice Show. Families can enjoy public skating with skate rental available. Public skating hours are offered regularly. See the monthly calendar on the center’s website. Note that ice skates are required for everyone on the ice at all times.

School Year Public Skate Times

During the school year, the rink is available for public skating on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 1:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for ages 5 to 61 and $3 for those older or younger. Skates can be rented for $5 or bring your own to be sharpened for $5/pair.

Open ice for hockey practice (skills, drills and stick handling) is also available for ages 3 and up. Admission is $5. Hockey hours are weekdays 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Full gear is required. Find the Burnsville Ice Arena calendar for public skating here.

Birthday Parties at Burnsville Center

Birthday party packages are available and can be booked during public skating hours. Package prices depend on the number of participants and whether you would like to book an instructor. The package includes a meeting room for two hours and admission and skate rental for all guests. Skating aids are extra. Party supplies are the responsibility of the hosts.
