So much to look forward to: a Friday night parade, fireworks and a free outdoor movie. Saturday ice cream social and Sunday canoe and kayak races. Plus a classical carnival all weekend long in Champlin. Full event runs June 12-15, 2025 with free admission – see link for full schedule.
Mississippi Crossings Summer Series
Champlin’s Mississippi Crossings Summer Series presents free live music along the river on Thursday nights. The venue is a beautiful new space with a large amphitheater, wide green lawn with yard games, an exciting playground when the kids get wiggly, and room for food trucks. Visitors are welcome to bring in their own chairs and blankets starting at 3pm but please note that coolers are not permitted. Full concert series runs June 5-August 21, 2025. Music from 6-9pm. Admission is always free.
