Alpha & Omega is a pizza farm and event space located about an hour’s drive northwest of Minneapolis-St Paul. After just one visit on a beautiful fall afternoon, I was dreaming about their wood-fired pizza for months. It’s simply delicious – hot, cheesy, creatively topped, and as fresh as they come. The pizza is center of attention at the farm, but there’s a whole lot more to enjoy, including activities for families with kids. Alpha & Omega Farm tops our list of the BEST MINNESOTA PIZZA FARMS.

Pizza Nights at Alpha & Omega Farm

Pizza Nights are hosted at the farm most Thursday and Saturday nights in the summer and continue on most Saturday nights in September and October as part of their Fall Festival. You’ll want to check the farm’s online calendar for upcoming pizza nights – and definitely skim our tips for visiting a pizza farm (below) if you’re a first-timer. Expect live music to entertain you, a few lawn games and sweet farm animals to pet. Leaving the kids home this round? A pizza farm makes for a tasty date night – or OVER-night with their glamping experience.

Fall Festival at Alpha & Omega Farm

We roundly suggest visiting Alpha & Omega Farm during the autumn months for the best fall colors. The giant yellow maple near the picnic pavilion and cornhole lawn makes a stunning photo backdrop. Plus, your kids can scramble on hay bales, pick a pumpkin from the patch, and y’all can take a wagon ride around the fields. This year, the Fall Festival at Alpha & Omega Farm runs every weekend in October starting at 11:30am. Remember, you’ll want to reserve your pizza crust online in advance of heading out.

Tips for visiting a pizza farm

If you’re new to the concept of a pizza farm here are the main steps you’ll take to prepare: 1) reserve your crust online. There is often a cap on orders at pizza farms, so do this to ensure you’ll eat. (Imagine the sadness if you don’t.) 2) Pack up your own dishes, flatware, trash bag, beverages and sides. The extra food is welcome as long as you are ordering pizza. There is seating at this particular farm, or you can haul your own camp chairs. 3) Custom-top your pizza when you arrive at the farm and enjoy the space while you wait for it to bake. 4) Pack it all out and leave no trace.
