Individual artists and galleries are back for the 30th year of showcasing their finest for your family to enjoy at Art-A-Whirl. If you are interested in discovering what your family and children will be interested in, you might want to study up on the most family-friendly offerings at Art-A-Whirl – including artist demos and kid-friendly workshops, an art car parade and coloring contest. If this sounds overwhelming, Joy has some strategies for making the most of Art-A-Whirl with kids of all ages. Admission is free.

All Weekend
- Stop by Eat My Words Bookstore to view work by local artist Jill Stebbins and just take a break in one of our favorite Twin Cities Independent Bookstores for Kids.
- Artblok Stamp Rally – Collect stamps throughout the 2010 Artblok that combine into a multicolor print. 2010 E Hennepin Avenue.
- Community Sculpture Building – Contribute to a community sculpture. California Building Studio 113, 2205 California Street NE.
- Disco Cowboy – Tons of Cowboy & Disco themed activities and projects all weekend. Find a full list with times here. Flux Art Building, 2505 NE Howard Street.
Saturday
