Arguably, the Sunken Garden is the most classic of the balmy and bright rooms of the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in Como Park. Certainly the most colorful, the garden swaps its blooms out multiple times per year, a seasonal delight for any age, particularly in the drudges of a Minnesota winter.

2026 Como Conservatory Holiday Flower Show
From Como’s Sunken Garden website: Northern lights inspire the holiday show with poinsettias highlighting all the colors of the aurora borealis. Poinsettias include burgundy, pink, variegated, yellow, and white. Accent plants include kalanchoe and silvery foliage from eucalyptus and ‘Silver Falls’ dichondra.
