Running Park is a 10 acre park in Bloomington on East Old Shakopee Road. Family friendly amenities include a playground, softball and space for picnics in the summer and ice rinks in the winter months. The hilly terrain also makes good sledding. This park also has off-street parking.
NOTE: The playground at this park is quite close to the pond. Parents of small escape artists may want to position themselves strategically.
Ice skating at Running Park
The City of Bloomington maintains two hockey rinks and a general rink at this location. This is one of four parks in Bloomington that is open and staffed daily. The rinks are lit after dark.
