Website Rosland Park
Rosland Park in Edina sits at the intersection of Highways 100 and 62 around Lake Cornelia, where it overlooks a fountain in the middle of the lake. Families can enjoy a playground, walking paths, disc golf, picnics, sports fields and courts and fishing. The Edina Art Center and the Edina Aquatic Center are both located within this park.
Universal Playground at Rosland Park
The park’s universal playground is designed to integrate a variety of play experiences and challenges while providing access to children with physical, sensory and developmental disabilities. The playground is completely wheelchair accessible with ramps on the play structure and designs that make transferring from wheelchairs easier. Equipment includes a merry-go-all, swings, backhoe diggers, Sky Run Zip track, hoop ladder, double-zip slide, river rock climber and ropes course cube net. See our Special Needs Shortlist for a list of other accessible playgrounds.
Nature walking at Rosland Park
Lake Cornelia Path is a 1.1 mile walking path west of the Edina Aquatic Center that circles the section of Lake Cornelia that is north of 66th Street. It offers a view of wetlands and wildlife. The path can be accessed on either 66th Street or West Shore Drive.
Birthday parties at Rosland Park
Edina Aquatic Center offers birthday party packages starting at $200 for the Twilight package for 12 guests. Edina residents can rent the Park Picnic Shelter for birthday parties and other gatherings during the months of May through October.
